i was playing around some more with the tracing paper drawings. the loops made by the paper become the primary focus and the pencil line becomes secondary.

i bound a book of blank paper - some nice soft somerset satin. i wanted to cut a string of numbers across the edge. but...i started...and it just wasn't working in my mind (aesthetically i think). oh well, i tried it i guess. bit of a shame really.

midpoint review

we were back to school on tuesday for the midpoint review. i was struggling with one piece of work to show. i decided to go with the photocopy books. i made a quick support that would allow them to stand up freely in a block. i wonder if there would be a better way to display them? the idea was to sit and make notes while the rest of the class looked and commented on the piece. i was quite happy with the comments made as they corresponded quite well with my ideas. tutorials next week, so perhaps get some feed back then.
